2022 Great Plains Field Cultivator Narrow FCC8308N

Great Plains’ popular 8000 Series Field Cultivator has been redesigned for the European market with an 8m working width capable of 3m transport. The new FCC8308N will be produced in Great Plains’ Sleaford production plant and will include a full European lighting kit, tyre option, walking axle units, hydraulics, metric fasteners, and brake option kit. The European model utilizes the same MAX-MIX™ shank pattern as its American counterpart, resulting in an effective 18cm shank spacing from front to rear. The machine features excellent trash flow as none of the shanks are closer than 70cm in each row. Upfront, the unit has Scharmüller ISO hitch flange plate fixing. The unit finishes with an option for a 3-row spike and reel harrow kit.

With the Max-Mix™ pattern, no shank is closer than 28" on the same bar. The underframe clearance is 24", and the shanks are spaced 7" apart. The Max-Mix™ pattern is a true four-bar design, and shanks exactly split the previous row of shanks. This evenly spreads residue and uniformly incorporates fertilizer and chemicals.
